About Kat
Hello Everyone!
Thank you for visiting my web page. My name is Kat and I am a 38 (did I really print that?) year old wife and mother. I have a wonderful 11-year-old son and two very precocious and yet quite adorable 5-year-old twin stepdaughters in addition to the kids, I have probably one of the best and most huggable husbands of all time. Lets not forget the pets, 2 cats Chase and Carlie and a Jack Russell named Doolie…I try to forget about the two frogs that swim around my sons room!
Frequently I am asked for recipes by friends and family so my self proclaimed internet uber geek of a husband suggested this web site. We thought it would be a great way for family and friends to get my recipes and helpful tips. It will be a work in progress so please bear with us.
Personally I have had no formal training as a cook it is just something I happen to love to do; I especially love to bake. With a full time job, I am always looking for something quick and tasty for dinner and something that three picky kids will eat. I am thinking a lot of people have the same problem. Plus, there is always my mother in law for back up; she is a Life Science teacher…what ever happened to home ec?
I am forever trying something new and can’t wait to get my hands on a new cookbook or my cooking magazines lucky for me my husband will eat just about anything with the exception of brussel sprouts and olives. The kids are a different story when it comes to dinner but of course they have no trouble taste testing my baking.
